I’ll be giving a 1-day workshop on Saturday, May 6th, 2017, at Warnecke Ranch in Healdsburg. Warnecke Ranch is a stunningly beautiful 265-acre holding on the Russian River; hilly, with gorgeous vistas, a lake, pond and vineyards everywhere. The ranch is the home of the Chalk Hill Artist Residency and this workshop will help launch their program of art-related classes and events.
The workshop will run from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. I’ll be setting up a still life outdoors in this beautiful landscape and will do a quick demonstration that focuses on integrating the still life subject into the landscape. All levels of artists and paint mediums are welcome. After my demonstration, participants will have the day to paint one or more of a variety of still life subjects anywhere on the ranch. I’ll be going around and working with each of you throughout the day.
The cost of the 6-hour workshop is $80; it’s limited to 10 participants, so if you can make it I hope you’ll sign up quickly. Registration is through the Chalk Hill Residency program.
